Being a small breeder of Ragdoll Cats is an amazing experience.  Getting to have up to a few litters per year is a very fulfilling and rewarding experience that any animal loving individual or family can enjoy.  Seeing kittens born and grow into the cute bouncy little fur balls they become is extremely exciting.  Breeding on a large scale properly is LOTS of work but a small in home cattery with one to four females breeder cats can be a completely positive addition to a family and provide a nice little side income as an added perk.  Having a single Ragdoll male in the house can also be fine, most are excellent pets in the house and do not have issues with spraying.  However, there is the occasional male that seems to have a higher drive than usual and if this happens the male will have to be confined to a room or stud cage so you are not at risk of the occasional marking.  We do offer stud service to all females bought from Ragdoll Kittens at an extremely reasonable rate so this is a very viable option to consider.  You can also “try it out” with a male and if the boy you have isn’t working out we can do any of the following options:  1.)  Return him so we can find him a new home and you can optionally get free stud service or a replacement male;  2.) Keep him as a pet and get him altered to stop the bad behavior and either get a replacement male or free stud service.

Are you nervous about finding buyers for the kittens you raise?  Don’t be.  We can optionally list your kittens here on Ragdoll Kittens and handle the entire process of marketing, customer service, contracting, payment processing, and scheduling for kittens to go home.  If you find someone to buy your kitten before we do then there is no fee for listing the kitten with us.  It is your choice when you list a kitten with us and we are always here for you for kittens born to any breeder purchased from Ragdoll Kittens.
